DJ’s Simon Fraser and Steve Smith present Freedom Sound. Picking up from their twice-monthly radio show for Cambridge 105FM they describe as Jazz and beyond, this bi-monthly session goes way beyond. Expect the unexpected, joining the dots between Soul, Deep Funk, Latin & Jazz to Disco, Hip Hop, Deep House & Worldwide Beats; Freedom Sound at The Fountain is a truly eclectic mix of music for the abstract dancefloor.
Expect to hear a strictly vinyl session with the likes of Theo Parrish, John Coltrane, The JB’s, Fela, Soil & “Pimp” sessions, Airto and Ramadanman in the mix. It’s all about the music, its Freedom Sound.
